Dodger and Rich had started in chat
The Asscon is Vegas, "Hey that’s where its at"
"Will you go to this weekend?" I asked LMR
"and when will you leave? Should I ride in your car?"

"This Friday at noon is when I’ll depart
I’ll leave here for Vegas, I’ll get a quick start.
But if we both go, then where will we stay?
A convention’s in town and that’s 6 days away
The rooms are all booked, you see its too late
what’s left now is left, because of high rates"

What he didn’t know and I made him see
was Dodger’s connections for rooms that were free
I told LMR that we both had a bed
And visions of lap dances filled both our heads

"Then we will both go and go in my car
But when it is Sunday, you’ll come back with Laar
For I have to stay and work till midweek
I have clients to see and some new sales to seek"

So I checked up with Laar who’d be leaving that day
and there I made plans for a ride to L.A.
But it’s a big place and his house was so far
that the way it would work was if I had my car
and So the plan went that I’d meet Rich at noon
And head out of town not a moment too soon
But on the way up I would drop off my car
In front of the house that was rented by Laar

And so there it was, our plans were now set
a weekend of lapping we wont soon forget
At a quarter past noon, as I sat in my car
I started to wonder, "where is LMR?"
The time on the clock started passing with speed 
my stomach was noisy so I went in to feed
I finished my meal and looked at the clock,
1:30 it said and we still hadn’t talked.
I picked up the phone and paged my good friend
And when he called back, I said, "where have you been?"

The tone in his voice was sorry and sad
"so much work came up, its making me mad
but I am now done and leaving this place 
I’ll stop by my home, and you’ll soon see my face"

He finally arrived at a little past three
we both left for Laars after he had a pee
And so from that spot we both had just started
how little I knew how long we’d be parted.
The roads were now jammed with many a car
it took very long to go not very far.
An hour of driving got me to the spot
a bit faster than Rich but not a whole lot.

Not a whole lot? Well I wasn’t hip
the dufus got lost on his 2 hour trip
and those who may think that I give a bad rap
RICH was the one who was holding the map
We grab all my stuff and join company
And FINALLY get started at 5:33.
