Running late as usual, I arrived at Sam's about 8pm on Tuesday armed
with a handful of ASSC hats, my ASSC polo shirt, and curious
anticipation.  As I parked and walked up, the security guy grunted and I
grunted back before heading in.  Sam's kind of reminds me of a better
Wild Goose; same type of crowd, much better dancers.  Anyway, I walk up
to a group of guys sitting to the far right of the bar and introduce
myself.  They look at me funny.  Oops, not the internet guys.  So I
traverse down along the bar scanning the room and say Hi to Athena.. oh,
Athena.  I ask her where the internet guys are and she directs me to the
other side of the room. Ah ha! There's ALS. I kind of recognize him from
his web page pics.

I walked up and go through my introductions a second time and the guys
present were RJ, Dave's Friend, IRL, ALS, and Dodger who popped back
over a few minutes later. Hey, now I'm 1 for 2 so far... SPLASH, I spill
RJ's drink.  Okay, 1 for 3. I owe ya one RJ, lunch sometime, I'm buying
of course. It really was very nice meeting you and I probably wouldn't
have made the Sam's leg of the tour if you weren't going to show,
especially since I knew the other guys were making it to TJ's later that
night. So until next time Uncle RJ, it was indeed a pleasure.

The rag-tag group chatted away for the next 45 minutes, and I must say,
it does add another dimension to ASSC after meeting the people you
post/email/irc with.  ALS deservedly owns the name Pope as even the
Sam's dancers were all over him. It's either a religious thing or the
bony butt. I figure it's the bony butt. Gals say they don't like it, but
I think otherwise.  IRL, are those frames for real? It sure helps in
getting dancers to remember who you are!  IRL and I had some fun sitting
at the stage tipping Athena while he tried to recruit her for CP.  DF
(Dave's Friend) looked like my buddy Bob. Not Bob "I wasn't at
ASSConvoy" Smyth, but my non-ASSC friend Bob. Great guy, I love his
posts; a perfect mix of sarcasm, humor, and ATOS (all the other shit).
He shot the guns with Adrianna and got creamed. That can be a good or
bad thing depending on where you're sitting. Besides, she got me all
sticky with what DF got her. Dodger was a man after my own heart. He
loves LAPS! But we'll get into that later during the TJ's segment.
Through all this I almost forgot to mention the dancers at Sam's!
Adrianna is great. That's the best way I can describe her. A perfect mix
between charisma, looks, and fun! What I'm saying here doesn't really do
her justice. She can stand behind my bar anytime. Beautiful Athena is
righteously deserving of Zbone's dancer of the month. Friendly as all
heck, a body to kill for, and an amazing stage presence.  Unfortunately,
I didn't have much of a chance to chat as we all needed to head over to
TJ's. I'll be back sometime soon. X-man (Zbone's spy) showed up towards
the very end with one of his buddy's. Nice meet ya guy!  Onto TJ's...

Again, I show up late.  In between Sam's and TJ's, I get paged several
times and took a 45 minute ASSConvoy break to handle some business.
Walking inside TJ's, the place was actually not very full. I hear my
name and see The Kid sitting at the rail with about 15 or more other
ASSC'ers. They've taken over the stage! This is great! I get accosted by
Sonya, a wonderful waitress there, but finally make my way to the rail
and meet HGoof, Blue Sky, DougY, Engnr1, and a bunch of other guys I'm
sorry I forgot the names of. We all wrote our names down on some napkin
I think, but who has it?  The place was buzzin with ASSC energy.

Alright.. who was folding the Origami?  There were little damn birds,
elephants, and all kinds of animals all over the tip rail, on stage, in
the bathroom, in Jodi's bra...

Some of the dancers Tues night were Sierra, Jasmine, Wednesday, AJ,
Jennifer, Sweet, Christal, Mercedes, Chanel, Marissa, Barbi, Cherry,
Crimson, plus a host of other dancers I forgot or didn't see. One thing
that does suck sometimes with TJ's is that there will usually be an
average of 30-35 girls working on a weeknight shift but depending on the
customers and the girls moods, maybe only 15-20 will be circulating the
floor at any given time.  Hey ALS, you probably would have liked several
more of the gals on Thurs and Fri nights.  It's almost totally different
gals working towards the weekends; less tattoos, less piercings, and in
general a few points higher on the scale.  I think you would have really
liked Angel, Jade, and a variety of others. The waitresses working were
Jodi, lil' Jessica, and Sonya. CeeCee was doing the pouring behind the
bar.

Blue Sky, it was nice to finally meet you. I'm sorry I had the
waitresses give you such a hard time about the name as you never told me
what your real name was last time and I had them go up to every customer
asking if they were Blue Sky.  DougY, dude! I still don't know how we
never ran into each other. DougY knows his people at TJ's! A Sunday
regular, the gals love the man. Well, except Jessica who's defected to
the Pope. I think she's moving to SF. Again he shows his uncanny powers.
Dave's Friend had an interest in AJ so I pulled Jodi over to get her
from the dressing room. After a few dances, he had a smile on his face
and walked kinda funny. Is that a wrench in your pocket or are you just
glad to see me?  Oh Kid, Jodi is great, and married. But she's still as
friendly as all heck and has one of the best personalities anywhere.
Engnr1 disappeared and we located him with Marissa sitting at the front
benches.  He had a smile the whole time. Until ALS went up and lapped
him of course.  You should have seen the look on the dancer's face let
alone Engnr1's expression. These are the times you wished you had a
video camera going. I keep forgetting the dancer's name, but IRL went to
the back benches with her while we cheered him on. I think he defected
another dancer to CP. Hey IRL, what was this? A recruitment mission? :-)
Dodger the whole time was busy lapping away with Crimson (who by the way
never gets a breath of air... you seriously have to take a number with
her to get a damn lap), Wednesday, and Christal. Hoped you liked my
recommendations Dodger. Myself? Caught inbetween a serious bout of DP.
No big deal ALS says. Easy for him to say, he's the Pope. Skats finally
showed up fairly late. Good meeting you bud! We'll have to hit another
club sometime soon.

Zbone and Saxbeat, I wish you guys could have made it. It would have
been really cool meeting you two as well. Maybe next time.

As I left TJ's around 1am, I started my 4 hour drive to Vegas... but
that's another post in itself.
